At the beginning of October, 2010 there were 146 detached single family homes for sale in San Ramon (down from 167 last month) and 108 condos and town homes etc. (not much change there). Buyers appear to be gaining confidence (or perhaps taking advantage of the amazingly low interest rates) and home prices appear steady.

With only two months supply of single family homes,, there is still a real shortage of homes for sale in San Ramon though, and unless we see more homes coming on to the market soon, prices could start to rise. In the meantime, the low interest rates should ensure that homes continue to sell well.
